Strength has always been something of value to me. Strength of the body was always a given, it wasn’t until last year that I really was able to develop strength of the mind. I have such an appreciation for a strong mind. It has surely improved my life—in every aspect there is. The Whole30 definitely challenges and strengthens the mind. Everyone else can see beauty in you, except for you. Why is that? I challenge you to reflect on your beauty everyday–your physical beauty or even the beauty you hold within your soul.
I finally tried crossfit… and I really really like it. I have only been to three one-on-one sessions, but so far, I get an amazing workout every time. It definitely is not for the weak minded… I find myself pushing hard and testing my limits of what I can do versus what my mind says I can do. I admit– I get discouraged. I let minor set backs make me feel like I have lost everything. Looking back, I always realize this is not the case though. It just takes a great deal of strength and courage to get back up and keep fighting. If you are like me, you are your own worst enemy.
