summer vibes

summer vibes || Journey for JessiI am back in Colorado for the summer and feelin’ the summertime love!  Everything is so green and sunny and hot and I am in my element.  So far my summer has consisted of training, fresh meals, pool time, good friends, BBQs, 4-square, long bike rides, nights out in the town and even summer school is more enjoyable.  It is crazy to think that July will be here next week–my summer bucket list is still so long!  I am on a good pace however, and I am enjoying every moment in the mean time. the little things

the little things--Journey for JessiI have been taking more time to reflect and enjoy the little moments in life.  You know, part of my resolutions and all that.  It is only day five of the new year, but my newly improved positive outlook on life, I can already tell, will make this year one of my best yet!  Only day five and I already feel happier, more in control of my own life and plans for my future.  I have goals, I have dreams, I am inspired!  Continue reading

listen to your heart

ImageI feel blessed.  Blessed because I have my health—and that, is more valuable in life than all the money in the world.  People ask me why I workout everyday, or why I eat so healthy.  Does that really require an answer?  Because I want to live long whilst still enjoying life—who wouldn’t?   I always thought that eating well and staying physically fit was the way to get there, but when my world got turned upside down last May, I began questioning and fearing that I was pushing myself too hard… Continue reading
