The weather has been foggy, rainy, dreary and “cold.” Well, cold for Houston. This always seems to happen when I come home. I expect a break from the cold and the snow and want to come to the warm and sun, but here I am… oh well. I am not letting it ruin my fun!
Hello all! It is day two of my Circuit Series! (If you missed day one, find it here!) I completed the second rotation this morning in under nine minutes and burnt about 40 calories (keep in mind that every body is different and this is just an estimate based off of how I performed*).
Some days you just have to go with the flow. I am a very routine oriented individual, so when I deviate from my routine, my day just seems hectic. Yesterday morning I played Ultimate Frisbee for the first time in forever. I know now because today my legs and hips feel like they were stretched like a rubber band and snapped back a thousand times. No big deal though, I actually enjoy being sore. It is like my body saying, “nice work yesterday Emily.”
After my Green Piña Colada Smoothie wore off, I made myself a little snack consisting of baby carrots, celery, and homegrown grape tomatoes from my garden. Continue reading
