College is back in full swing–meaning, that it is more difficult to keep up my healthy intentions when I have other things like studying, group projects, and club meetings to focus on. I admit, lately my health and fitness has been put on the back burner, but I am back in action. Here are some things I have learned over the years about staying healthy, both mentally and physically, in college without sacrificing my studies.
I finally tried crossfit… and I really really like it. I have only been to three one-on-one sessions, but so far, I get an amazing workout every time. It definitely is not for the weak minded… I find myself pushing hard and testing my limits of what I can do versus what my mind says I can do. I feel blessed. Blessed because I have my health—and that, is more valuable in life than all the money in the world. People ask me why I workout everyday, or why I eat so healthy.
