Day three in the books and I am rearing and ready to rock! My Whole 30 is going swell so far (if you can’t tell). I surprisingly haven’t really been feeling the effects of the Whole 30 timeline (knock on wood). I am not complaining though! Here are some things I have noticed so far:
Day 3 Non-Scale Victories (NSV)
- less bloated
- more energy
- happier and lighter mood
- able to handle difficult emotions/situations more easily
- increased self-confidence
These victories mean waaayyyy more to me than any number on the scale/tape measure can mean. The biggest thing I wanted to achieve out of my Whole 30 this time around was my self-confidence and freedom back.
I say “back,” because last year at this time, I was on top of the world. I was the most confident I have ever been, I felt healthy and happy and in charge of my life.
I got a taste of what freedom feels like, and I LOVED it. I want it back. And only I can achieve that again. It’s all on the inside. Getting down to the nitty gritty and getting in tune with my mind and body again. That’s what it takes for me. As you know, every one is different.
Day Three Meals
- Breakfast: potato, eggs, spinach
- Lunch: Chicken Bok Choy Soup
- Snack: Rxbar, epic jerky, banana, almonds
- Dinner: tacos with a jicama shell
